Sardinia, an autonomous region of Italy, the second largest island in the Mediterranean, has cultural influences from every direction that have enriched this island with a fascinating local culture.
But you want to know the real reason why we LOVE it? The roads are FABULOUS! A true work of art! The engineer who planned them must have been a biker themselves! Endless curvy roads, excellent sparkling black asphalt surface, great angles and slopes on the bend, and to top it off…hardly any traffic. Without hesitation, we can declare some of Europe’s best roads are in Sardinia.
This is a short adventure that takes us through the northern part of the island, including the famous Emerald Coast, Alghero, Olbia, Bosa’s old city. Rich with history, historical sights, arts and crafts of the Sardinian people, and excellent food and accommodation, this is one you won’t want to miss!

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Sardinia! Olbia
Arriving in the capital city of Olbia, we will pick up our bikes in the early afternoon and get right to it riding along the northern coast, the famous Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast), with its breathtaking views and white sand beaches. Quite the welcome for the eyes, hinting at the adventures ahead of us on this tour.
Day 2: Alghero
Heading out west along the most beautiful and coastal rides in Sardinia, we will arrive in the historical medieval village of Alghero. Encircled by ancient walls, it is known for its Catalan Gothic architecture and cobblestone center that is alive with cafes and bars.
Day 3: Orgosolo
Today we head inland, weaving through rural landscapes rich with history and authentic local culture. We will pass through the city of Orgosolo, famous for its anti-authoritarian streak and immortalized in its street art, definitely a one of a kind and one you won’t forget.
Day 4: Orosei
Up, over and through the Gennargentu Mountains on the eastern side of the island, this is a day of riding for the books with amazing roads and fantastic panoramas from its’ highest peaks.
Day 5: Last day
With a half a day of riding ahead of us today, we will take advantage of every twist and turn heading back to Olbia. After returning the bikes, we will bid farwell
